  38. If you have no idea what type of modem it is, why are you using 
  39. modem type 'zoom'?

  41. You will need to find out what kind of modem it is in order to be able
  42. to issue the correct commands to the modem to ignore dialtone.
  43. Try using ATI0 to ATI12 to see what you can find out.
